His collaboration with award-winning playwright Nick Capetanakis goes back decades, where they began their career writing and performing live comedy in major clubs across the country as part of the comedy trio Open Season. They were also regulars at The Comic Strip, The Improv and Comedy Cellar in NYC and would often share the stage with Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Mike Sweeney and Carol Leifer. Nick & Todd wrote and produced the cult comedy feature film SO, YOU’VE DOWNLOADED A DEMON, which Livingston directed. It enjoyed its world premiere at Cannes in 2004.

The Artists
Brendon and Brian Fraim have worked on the first series of THE WAITING PLACE from Slave Labor Graphics as well as KNIGHTS OF THE DINNER TABLE Magazine. Along with the masthead and spot illustrations in this magazine, they also drew the spin-off book KODT: ILLUSTRATED for 38 issues and hundreds of illustrations for Kenzer’s HACKMASTER Role-Playing game. Another RPG company they work for is Hero Games and their CHAMPIONS RPG systems. They illustrated the Harvey Award nominated ANTIQUES: THE COMIC STRIP, with a collection of the strip available from Gemstone Publishing, and drew the comic book sections in the Random House novel, WOLF BOY. Recently, they drew THE ODD SQUAD, by Nick and Todd, published by Devil’s Due. They also drew the three issue series VAMPIRE, PA with their Antiques collaborator J.C. Vaughn and the cover to the 2010 Free Comic Book Day OVERSTREET comic from Gemstone.
They are currently working on drawing many, many fan commissions. Visit their website at www.brosfraim.com as well as http://comicartcommissions.com/Fraim.html and follow them on Facebook. For those who are curious, the Fraims are identical twins: Brendon is the penciler and Brian is the inker. And if you want to know which twin is evil, the answer is simple – they’re both evil.
